Small social businesses can transform communities. Picture yourself living for a 10 days in a Spanish village, eating homemade food, hiking, and making new friends from Poland, Italy, and Spain.

If you are under 35 years old and interested in the topic, we are inviting you to join this event. The best part: It’s all free of charge, even your flights.

🗓️ Dates: Arrival on May 8th and departure on May 17th, 2023

🏔️🏡 Venue: Sende, a 20-inhabitant village nestled in the Spanish mountains, right on the border with Portugal

⏲️ Deadline for application: April 16th, 2023 ⌨️ Link to apply

You’ll learn the ins and outs of building tiny businesses (online and offline) from people who have been doing it for the past 15 years.

By the end of the event, we will make sure to transfer you the knowledge and tools to create your own tiny biz that supports both you and a greater cause.

PRACTICAL DETAILS:

To reach Sende, here are the easiest ways:

🗺️ Here is the village on the map.

✈️ Closest airports are in Porto, Vigo, and Santiago de Compostela.

🏡 Accommodation: You will be sleeping and working in Sende, one of the world’s first rural coworking and coliving spaces. Village houses, stables, and vineyards have been transformed into inspiring creative spaces.

🚌 Travel costs:

  • Poland: 360€
  • Italy: 275€
  • Spain: 20€

This is the maximum amount we can reimburse for your travel.

The program is designed to make you say: — Wow, I learned something new, and I can use it already!

We will use non-formal education methods, encouraging you to teach others, share, experiment, test, research, get dirty, build, and publish.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:

We especially value the participation of young people living in rural areas or those interested in relocating to a rural area for the development of a personal or business project. However, this shouldn’t be a barrier to apply even if you live in the heart of Warsaw, Rome, or Madrid.

Upon selection, you’ll receive an extensive info-pack with practical information (what to bring, how to organize travel and share rides with other participants, small tasks to prepare before coming to Sende, etc.)

Right now we are organizing a similar event and you can check it on our instagram stories.
